Contents: Getting to know the sequence of the exam, training of the different skills, individual feedback and coaching
Levels offered: B1, B2, C1
Price: 495,00 €, once-off registration fee of 25,00 € for new students
Group sizes: 6-12 participants (5 registrations: 2 lessons/week: self studies, 4 registrations: 4 lessons/week: self studies)

FAQ exam preparation

Do I really need a preparation course?

Yes! The standard courses can´t prepare you for the exams. The listening, reading and writing tasks are different from anything else you need for your daily life, which requires preparation.
It is important to know the format, the sequence and the type of tasks beforehand. Otherwise you will have stress in the exam and stress always has an impact on your performance.
Some numbers:
- Success rates of students, who learned at IH Cologne / took part in a preparation curse: 100%! Grades: Very good / good.
- Success rates of external candidates: 30%, Grades: satisfying / sufficient.

Fantastic school, and after trying many in the area i found this school to be the best. The teachers are fantastic and enthusiastic and made each lesson fun and thoroughly enjoyable. Insula is a great language school to learn German in Cologne! It is like a family for me learning with them for 7 months. They offer a lot of courses from intensive to stress-free, and also online courses. I love the small group environment to make sure of the progress and focus for every student.
